HISCO CYLINDER SR-XF75 AIR COMPRESSORIR
A cylinder air compressor, also known as a piston compressor, uses a cylinder to compress air from atmospheric pressure to operational pressure. The air is drawn into the machine through pistons, filtered, and then passes through intake valves into the cylinder. As the piston moves downward, or on its suction stroke, the volume within the cylinder increases, causing the pressure to decrease. This allows higher pressure air from outside to push open the inlet valve and more air into the cylinder. When the piston moves upward, or on its compression stroke, the volume decreases, causing the pressure to increase. This increase in pressure opens the outlet valve and releases compressed air from the cylinder.
