STRAIN RELIEF CORD GRIP 1.0 INCH MPT 

A strain relief cord grip is used to connect cords or cable to electrical enclosures and equipment, preventing pullout due to tension and limiting the arc of bend at the point of entry. It distributes strain over the length of mesh rather than concentrated at one point or transferred to the internal termination. Strain relief grips protect cables and cords from stress or damage and relieve any strain on connection equipment, like light sockets. They also prevent the cable insulation from being penetrated by the sharp edges of the enclosure or electrical box, and from being pulled out of the box.
