The IronHorse GSD1-48-10N4X is a DC motor speed controller designed for low-voltage Pulse-Width-Modulated (PWM) control. It operates on 12V, 24V, 36V, or 48V DC input and supports an output of up to 10A. The unit provides smooth variable speed control, automatic compensation for load changes, and multiple adjustment options for maximum speed, minimum speed, current limit, IR compensation, and acceleration.
This model comes in a NEMA 4X enclosed style, making it suitable for harsh environments where protection from dust and water is needed. Speed can be controlled using a 5kΩ potentiometer or a 0-10V DC analog input signal.
For installation, it requires an externally fused DC-rated power supply at 150% of the motor’s full load current. It is not compatible with corrosive gases and should be mounted in an enclosure at least three times its volume if using an open-frame model.
